Found frost ball on inlet and only one pass has frost and has oil on the evaporator. Unit will need compressor and evaporator to repair this issue. Blue book estimate is 2312.00 customer is going to check options.

Unit has frozen refrigerant lines causing unit to sweat . Sweat has damaged and buckled floors. Heavy corrosion in compressor pan. Unit has warmed up and has e5 fault in test 56 and quit making ice due to unit warming up. Freezer is running at 20 degrees . Unit needs sealed system repair . Unit is r600a . Customer asked about compressor pan replacement. Pan isnt a replaceable part and corrosion will remain after repair. Customer asked for replacement due to multiple trips and failures. Advised customer that I cant authorize replacement . Manufacturer can only make that choice. Sealed system is under 60 month warranty .Customer is taking to whirlpool corporate employee named Bruce. Not ordeing parts or further repair this time due to customer wanting exchange . Customer doesnt feel like he should have to pay svc fee . Closing call out ; O-emld tckt

Even tho there was some confusion over the appointment time, Chris was pleasant and detailed in his inspection of the oven door and possible causes determined. He took ample time explaining the situation and advised me as to what I needed to do to have the issue corrected.
