"Took quick pics, found unit showing 8-1 long fill, 8-3 hazardous water and 5-2 door latch error. Cleared codes ran diagnostic cycle, found all functions check ok. Ran drain and spin on extra fast and medium. Found a lot of wobble due to unit being out of level, corrected leveling and ran drain and spin again and it looks a lot better there is a bit of a wobble still due to the floor starting to sink slightly behind the front foot. I let cust know about floor having a slight dip. Unit is checking good now but if she still having issues with spinning we would need to change control and gave cust est of $748.60. Customer declined repair at this time but will call if she needs it. Customer paid by check $150 emailed pvr as receipt."

Everything was working properly while I was there. 866-333-3134 extended service warranty company D&G Appliance Insurance. If it end up being control board the part alone is $248.10 plus tax. Recommended getting extended warranty in case it happens again but Whirlpool stated since its a safety concern homeowner can call back and could have them send us back out to at least diagnose issue. Recommended leaving unplugged and only using dishwasher while at home so he can monitor it. Recommended using gel detergent to first line in dispenser and gave instructions on rinse aid for drying.

"Found unit with multiple issues. Found that switch for soaking tap that holds it in place cracked not allowing it to stay in place. Will order switch. Unit also will not agitate or spin every time when it does unit makes awful clacking grinding noise. Checked underneath unit. Found oil leaking from gear case all over the place and components. Unit will need new gearcase, stator, rotor, clutch and slider for repair. When going to inspect locking nut for gearcase could not take units wash plate off , units wash plate is rusted and fused to gearcase shaft and will need to be cut off. Unit will need a lot of parts for worst case scenario including inner basket, locking nut, and wash plate. Will order all parts necessary for repair. Explained to customer that it will be a big job and will be here for a while rebuilding the washing machine. "Unit has f1 ,f7,f3,f5,f9 faults. Lid is cracked. Unit leaks water into drain pan. When trying to remove rotor bolt is siezed. After breaking rotor free unit has bad slider due to clutch failing and heavy corrosion from Gearcase. Basket has friction and doesnt spin as freely as it should by hand. "Took quick pics, found unit running in a safety loop. Found control has 1-1 internal board error and 3-1 pressure sensor error. Cleared codes and as soon as I turned knob it started safety loop again. When that finished I checked pressure hose for kinks or blockages and it is open and clear. I put into diagnostic cycle and it ran that and finished, immediately when it was done got stuck back into safety loop And repeats the 1-1 and 3-1 codes. Installed control unit checks ok"
