Condenser fan blade found off of condenser motor shaft causing cooling issues and most likely why ice maker stopped working. Pulled out refrigerator after touching hot mullion and found fan blade off of condenser fan motor shaft. Refrigerator was at around 40 degrees and freezer was about 10 with glossy ice. Temp of compressor was at 170 ish degrees and ramped up to maximum speed. Ramped down after I let fan blade attached on condenser motor cool off along with fan I brought in. Gave homeowner quote to replace condenser fan blade for $148.30 and thats with the trip charge already taken off. Condenser motor if needed with condenser fan blade would be $386.09 with trip charge taken off since its been within 90 days of us being here. Told homeowner to let us know if mullion strip starts getting warm indicating that fan blade fell off again and well order that first. Has 30 days to accept quote. Having issues with water coming out of dispenser which is most likely a filter housing or water valve in which would cost about $150-250. Possibly up to $900 to replace valve and filter housing. Charging card $74.99 for labor. Called Frigidaire and they said that the filters dont bypass when removed so homeowners will have to purchase a new filter to see if its a filter problem or a water valve or filter housing problem.
