"Taking temps from dryer exhaust vent with house vent connected, temp setting on high, and on timed dry cycle. The temp would reach 190 and then would drop down to 127. I found the outside vent cover partially clogged. After removing the clog I rechecked the temperature, which was at 177 and dropped 121. Airflow is good. All functions check ok. Customer was unsure about what I was telling her so I called techline and talked to Rob, 7736419717, he stated based off of temperatures I was telling him that the unit was functioning as designed. The customer also asked why it seemed that the dryer would operate fine when set on the medium heat setting. Rob said that because of the lower heat that the unit is able to move air easier, he said that is normal."

"The temperature was perfect in both sections, asked where the food was freezing, she stated normally the stuff by the damper and under the damper, put into test cycle to run the fan and baffle, it came on and started to cool down, the air flow at the damper was between 20-25, which is normal and the air flow underneath the damper got down to 31. Air flow at the damper will be colder because it is bringing the freezer temp up thru the channel to the fresh food compartment, and when it comes out the cold air falls, it is normal operation. I could not find an issue at this time. Normally when there is a damper failure or thermistor failure it will freeze everything, no matter where it is."

Customer had a load of jeans in, before we started the load, I tipped it up just to check the transmission to see if there was any oil leaking out, found there to be a black metal cap of some sort stuck in the sound shield, also found shield had wear marks in the plastic, looks like it was blocked and getting pushed into the cam causing a loud noise, found cam teeth had chipped in places due to the shield pushing up on it. "F0-E7: clothes detected during a clean washer cycle. Customer said that on two different occasions during wash cycles, the unit would stop mid cycle and display the clean washer message, they would have to take the clothes out of washer because the unit would not continue on. I was able to successfully run a calibration, auto test, and I also ran a quick wash with four towels with no issue. All functions check ok at this time."

"Ran a load of 7 towels on a quick wash cycle, at the end I was unable to smell any burnt rubber smell. She said that she would normally run the 7 towels with some sheets, I told her that she might want to make the loads a little smaller. Did advise customer to run clean washer cycle with some afresh, to leave door open between cycles, and to maybe have her drain checked by a plumber, though the water drains fine.
