"Customer states unit was making an extremely loud noise from rear if unit and food was warming up in both sections, unit has f1 fault in test 56. F1 indicates unit warmed up at one point and freezer temp wasnt satisfied to make ice. Customer unplugged unit from sunday to Tuesday and unit has worked since. Test 6 shows bi metal is good. Customer states there was no water behind unit or water on floor after unplugging unit indicating there was no defrost failure. Both ice makers are making ice and temperatures in both compartments are satisfied at 1 degree and 39 degrees via diagnostics. Test 3 and 4 functions as designed. Condenser fan,air baffle and compressor all show normal . No warmth on mullions indicating condenser fan is doing its job. Advised customer in hesitations for sealed system repair until we know for certain sealed system service is needed. Making svc fee good for 30 days for customer at no charge of customer returns call for service for within 30 day period."

"Took quick pics, found unit FF temp 37.73 degrees and freezer at 15.2. Removed back evap cover and found units frost pattern normal found defrost thermistor 8.6 k ohms and 5dcv from control. Found defrost heater with 120v and getting hot. Turned control up and found fan is running normally and has 120v to it. Called techline spoke with Chris 7738728834 at techline and reported my findings, he said the fz doesnt have an ambient thermistor and runs off the cooling of the fridge. Turned freezer dial to max to cut off air to ff to help with freezing. Also explained something with higher water content like eggs, veggies, etc, will freeze on the upper shelf. Also recommended turning control dial down a snowflake if its still too cold on upper shelf. Corrected fill tubing into icemaker so water will stop flooding the freezer floor. Reported findings to Trade care 7738687653 unit is functioning as designed"

Found 4 degree freezer temperature and 36 degree fresh food temperature. Found ice container frozen in place. Removed ice container and found ice looked like it had either melted or had water dumped on it. Ran ice maker and water went all over ice box. Removed ice maker and found fill cup frozen . Water pressure to house is 58 psig and water filter has been changed. Water valve was changed by previous tech. Called tech line and spoke to Bruce. Recomends replacing fill tube. File number 7738723119. Replaced fill tube and re installed ice maker and ice container. Checks o.k
