Found unit ran one cycle and in the middle died water in tub. No lights or functions working. 120v to unit. Pump reads open circuit from control. Put jumper in wire and checked again still open line. Violent off balance condition most likely broke a wire at some point and open drain pump circuit caused board to short. Did check newly installed tub for clear holes and the replacement tub is ok and has all holes punched all the way thru. Spoke with robert with TECHLINE. He advised replacing harness and pump as well as shorted control. Will order. Issue with unit was not ice maker leaking but waterline supplying water to unit had gotten kinked and started leaking at connection to valve when unit had been moved prior to service and there wasnt enough line slack to prevent kinking. Person who moved unit had supposedly cut water off. Unit not leaking while I was there. Valve is ok. They advised that shutoff in crawl space had also started leaking when turning water off. Advised customer that they need a plumber as supply line is not a part of the unit and not covered by extended warranty.

Took back panel off and found all thermals closed except for the lower heater thermal. It had resistance but jumped around and would sometimes jump around then show OL then show high resistance again. Found heater to show 9.6 ohms and OL to chassis. "Customer says issue occurs when unit is cooling down, and customer is certain that the noise is coming from convection fan at rear of cavity. Customer showed me recording of noise. I tested convection fan and cooling fan and found no unusual noises. Visually inspected fan and found it intact but found some evidence of fan scraping rear plate. Quoted customer 215.05 to replace fan and that fan is under manufacturer warranty, because we replaced it within a year of today. Informed customer that there could always be further issues resulting in further repairs needed. Customer understood and wished to proceed with repairs. Installed new convection fan and preheated oven. Let unit cool down a bit and found cooling fan a little louder than it should be. Found some grease and dust on fan. Cleaned fan and found noise no longer present. If issue is occurs again, we would have to replace Cooling fan (W11107275). Quoted customer 446.91 to replace fan."

Found noise during operation. No faults. Also feet ok but off level. Leveled unit. Spin and agitation sound normal. Fill normal. Agitation normal. During test control blinked off completely and came back on. Drain empty sounds normal but with water load on pump it makes an electrical buzzing noise. Noise stops as soon as water is drained out while pump still running so not foreign debris. Gave est of $527.89 to replace pump. Customer think is she has an extended warranty thru dealer and wants to check on that before deciding since unit drains. Balance would be $402.89
