Installed new Acu ran diagnostics cycled unit ck ok

"Took quick pics, found unit not heating at all and making a loud buzzing, took unit down and removed cabinet. Tested transformer, checks ok, magnetron shows 0.1 ohms and the mag tstat is closed. Checked capacitor and it checked ok. Installed new diode and ran unit. No heat still. Installed new magnetron and plugged unit into watt meter and ran, unit now heats, ran unit for 1 minute and measured water temp before and after, started at 75 degrees and after a minute water is 109 degrees. With the adjustment of 5 degrees, that is in range according to the tech sheet. And unit is pulling 1250 watts while running. Unit checks ok W1BOJO1NL2"

Found all burners not working and found all burner receptical melted due to customer using griddle across all burners to simulate skillet cooking.the failure is a result of abuse. Damage noted in pictures. This same damage has occurred several times dating back to 2019 . Called tech line and spoke with Travis. Sent pics to Travis . Found unit operating on its own randomly starting and light coming on and off. Called techline. Techline advised to replace user interface/control. "SR# 7739365621 Took quick pics, found unit unplugged, took console off bc thats where the customer saw smoke and heard a popping noise from the console. Her husband unplugged it and let it sit for a few minutes then it wouldnt turn back on so they left it unplugged. I took console off and found a black mark under the connector for the power cord and there was black soot on the connector. The connector looks fine on harness side but has melted inside the acu. Called safety team to report findings and they said they would call customer for a prorated exchange since washers shouldnt smoke"

"Complaint is that suds are left in unit, after running a normal cycle. F6e4 (float switch open). Tested and found wash motor running but spray arms not rotating. Found debris stuck in spray arms. Attempted to remove debris and could not get it all. New Lower spray arm (W11101428) and upper spray arm (WPW10448645) needed. Informed customer that there could always be further issues resulting in further charges. Customer understands. Quoted customer 444.38 to replace spray arms. "Quoted customer 181.07 to install left hand fresh food door gasket. Customer wished to replace gasket. Installed new gasket, fresh food evaporator and main control. Tested unit and found all operations ok at this time. Did not move unit. Customer does not have water turned on to unit. Collected 181.07 via check."

"Took quick pics, found unit showing 7-1 and 7-7 code. Ran unit empty on diagnostics cycle and all functions work properly. Ran shifter in component activation and board is send 120v to shifter. Shifter shows 2.4kohms which is in range, all the valve are approximately 1kohms. Motor is ohming out at 4.9 ohms on each winding. Put unit into a drain and spin and all functions are working properly. Put a load of clothes in and started on a normal regular cycle and watched it move through the fill and found the sound shield is too close to the floor causing the motor rotor to get caught up and error out. While unit was in wash cycle I adjusted leveling legs and raised unit about 2 inches to give allowance for the basket to drop and be off the floor during heavier loads. Its also possible a power outage disrupted the programming, and resetting the control corrected issue. Gave customer est of $737.97 for shifter and board. But as of right now I dont think its necessary to replace either. Charged customer for TC and labor of $254.99 had office run cc and email receipt. Unit checks ok."

Found unit causing smoke detector to go off. Inspected unit found vent in back of machine clogged and kinked. Found a lot of lint inside of unit and in heating element housing causing burning smell and smoke. Cleaned all lint out of unit and vent behind dryer. Advised customer get professional vent cleaners for house. Cycled through air fluff for 20 minutes and then normal cycle. Unit not setting off smoke detector no burning smell present. Heats and tumbles. All functions pass.

"Unit is in an appliance retail/discount store . Name of store is bridge city appliance . Unit is not at the customers home address . Customer states appliance brothers were out on this unit twice since my last visit on 4/11/24. Store owner states after 2nd visit from appliance brothers that the tech told store owner they were giving up on unit and wouldnt be returning for further service on this unit . Store owner states that other company spoke with whirlpool techline but didnt document unit un repairable to the tech line. Explained to customer that there is no such thing as anything being unrepairable despite customer being told by customer service rep from manufacturer unit can be deemed unrepairable. Every and all products are designed to be repaired and there for cant be deemed unrepairable. Off balance load faults are stored . Floors are stable since last visit . Unit is firm and planted. Suspension is tight and firm . Unit passes with automatic test mode. Water hook up are on a splitter due to unit being in retail stores. It good flow through valve and supply .Unit has correct height stand pipe with drain line installed at correct height .Outlets is wired correctly and checked with outlet tester . Noted in pictures. Called tech line and spoke with Bruce.faults stored are off balance load. Bruce advised current water hook up is ok for testing. Bruce advised to run automatic diagnostic cycle with him on phone. Unit again passes auto diagnostics. Bruce advised to start quick wash cycle . Started quick wash cycle . Unit works as designed. Mid way through cycle Bruce wanted to get off phone and advised me to come back with bath towels or Load to test unit . Advised tech line Im not responsible for providing Load for testing. Unit finished quick was cycle as designed. Lid latches , hot and cold valves open, unit spins and agitates . Unit fully drains . No weak motor or pump windings. file number for call is 7739419871"

Customer states unit leaks every cycle and has excessive cycle times. Unit has no stored faults . No water in float tray . No leak on incoming water line of valve. First 30 seconds into diagnostic cycle unit has heavy suds build up as noted in pictures . Suds build up is with no soap added. Called tech line and spoke with joe . Suds build up is causing leak. Sent pictures to tech line . Tech line advised customer is using the wrong soap . No soap is found nearby. No fault of unit. Unit works as designed. File number for call is 7739417964
