"Cycled unit found slight burning smell and motor kicking off after a few seconds. Checked incoming voltage unit getting 240 volts, took unit apart found burning smell coming from lint everywhere all around heater and inside of heater housing checked ohms on motor, motor had .3 to .6 ohms checked heating element 9.8 ohms, blower housing fuse .2 ohms, heater housing fuse .2 ohms called techline, techline said that the motor most likely over heated from blocked vent in back of dryer causing a lot of heat and extra lint to be found all inside the dryer. Removed lint clogging the vent in back of dryer vacuumed almost all of lint inside dryer on motor blower wheel heater and all the wiring and housing. Put unit back together cycled unit through quick dry no abnormal smells vent cleared and pushing air through properly advised customer to get house vents cleaned seeing as that could be part of the issue. unit no longer cutting off all functions pass.SR#7737905338"

"Customer informed me that there was another company out here for the same issue and replaced the control. Customer provided me with previous company write up. According to their paperwork, the part they put on is the correct control. Checked and found F6e4 (error code not listed) saved in control. When entering diagnostics, control was erratic and not responding properly. Was able to get bake burner to ignite, but control would beep periodically and eventually gave F2e1 (shorted keypad). Contacted tech support and spoke to Austin. He verified that the parts installed by previous company were correct, and that he previous company called in to tech support. He recommended replacing the control (W11620481) again. He said that the temp sensor may also be effecting the control. Sr number (7737907352) I would like to replace Temp sensor (WPW10181986) and Harness (W11465032) as well. "Took quick pics, found unit still extremely loud when spinning. Took top and back off and found when it spins with nothing it pins fine. But if you put anything in it, a larger or the smallest of loads it bounces around like its going to explode. It has gotten significantly worse since the last time I was here. Unit is level on the floor on all four sides. Unit is on a pedestal but the pedestal was bought with and is made for this washer. Pedestal feet are locked and it is secured to the washer properly. When you push the tub up and down and back and forth it feels and sounds like the inner basket is separating inside of the tub. Called techline and spoke with Drew, I gave him the history of the job and told him what I found today, he said to take it off the pedestal and see if it still does it, if that doesnt fix it we would need to reorder the tub assembly and this will be the third one in this machine in a year and a half. Customer is calling manufacturer to see if they will cover labor since repair isnt even 6 months old yet and its worse than before a gave customer est of $515 for labor. "Cusotmer states unit vibrates , makes loud noises and has long cycle times. Unit isnt level and right side is leaning. Leveled unit. Unit has no known service pointers for this model and serial range. Wash basket holes are punched out and clear. Unit has no stored faults . Suspension is firm and tight. Ran automatic diagnostic cycle . Unit passed with normal function and noises. Advised Customer about cycle time . Unit is over 40 years old and was bought 2nd hand but Cusotmer several years ago . Cusotmer states he smelt burning smell. Unit has no damaged component and works as designed during service visit. Called safety team and after 30min hold no answer

Cusotmer states unit will randomly die and unit will warm up. Cusotmer will have to flip breaker to get unit to turn back on . Unit will stop running but panel will still be illuminated. Nate 7737890699 installed encoder and encoder harness plugged unit in and found the ui flashed all the lights and then went dark like it should when first plugged in. Unit wouldnt turn on or go into diagnostics. Control is sending 12DCV to ui. Called Techline and spoke with Nate. He said to re-order encoder if weve got proper voltage from the outlet on a dedicated circuit and then we also have proper voltage into the UI but its not powering on told customer customer for right now is refusing repair just because the manufacture states that they wont entertain anything else as long as There is a file open.
