"Took quick pics, found unit had a 0-3 mechanical friction code stored, cleared code and ran diagnostic cycle. Found unit goes through every function properly but when it spins during the ramping up portions there is a noise that sounds like the gears in the gearcase are slipping, or like the magnetic slide is being pulled up and down when it shouldnt. Found this noise happens with no load in basket and is present in diagnostics and in a regular drain and spin cycle. Would need gearcase and motor for repair. "Andrew @ sat. 7739757264 Took quick pics, unit was unplugged. Pulled unit out and took back panels off before plugging in, found 240v in outlet and 120v between each hot and ground. Found terminal block and cord to be tight and wires look new. Checked control and switches for burn marks or signs of arching, none is present. Tested bake element and broil element for resistance and to make sure they arent grounded. All checks good against tech sheet. Plugged unit in and checked for codes, none are stored. Ran unit in a bake cycle to 425 and opened door. Found some burn off smoke came out, customer states shes never had a stove that vents below the console and she thought the board was on fire. All functions and loads check good. Unit is functioning as designed. Advised customer to run stove at 425 for 30-60 minutes to complete burn off. Called safety spoke with Andrew, and reported my findings."

"Found filter housing door, locking tab, bent up on itself but not broken. Also found ice chute gasket not installed properly. Corrected filter door and ice chute gasket. Informed customer that mildew around ice dispenser flap and water dispenser is normal and explained that regular cleaning is required for those parts but if they wanted to replace the parts it would be 489.44, for separator assembly (WPW10353552). Customer did not wish to replace at this time. Collected 160, for todays work. At this time, all operations ok with no leaks detected. Did not move unit."
