Drain tray is glued to compressor and will have to be replaced as well. Gave estimate of $1431.47 to repair unit. They will pass estimate on to paying party to make decision."

Sometimes it runs constant but in a skipping fashion, and every once in a while itll run normally. Behavior is exactly what units with a mismatch between control software and motor. Resistance from ACU to motor good. TECHLINE agreed with suggestion that control and/or motor parts were not correct and suggested having parts research look into parts. Parts research as of now is not aware of any parts issues with unit. Customer calling customer service."

No air coming from vent on side of house. Removed vent line, from back of machine , and found airflow normal, indicating there is a clog or obstruction between the wall and vent outside. Recommended customer have vent cleaned and addressed before using, to prevent damage to unit and house. Informed customer its a fire hazard if unit isnt venting well. Customer understood."

Found unit will not light up the key selected. Any cycle chosen lights up a different cycle. Some key presses dont respond at all. Unable to get unit to enter diagnostics. Power cycle did not affect unit. Gave estimate for panel of $485.63. Customer does not want to repair.

"Tested all fans and damper. Found no unusual noises and all functioning ok at this time. Removed evaporator cover and found a good frost pattern but some frost build up around fan and on ceiling of unit. Removed frost. Found all doors sealing ok it appears as though a door was left open, or otherwise didnt seal properly, causing frost to form and obstruct airflow. At this time all operations ok with no leaks detected. Collected 150 for service call."
