Took quick pics, of all connections on harness, found all wires to be in perfect condition, no breaks or tears, or pinched and took pictures of heater and evap tray, entire tray is silver with no black marks or arch pitting. Found no fracturing in heater rod, heater showing 36 ohms no indication of arching or grounding. Pulled unit out and took off unit cover, took pictures of lower harness and drain tube extension. Found everything looks good and no broken wires or arch marks on anything. Reinstalled unit compartment cover and plugged unit in, found compressor runs normally and fans come on. Called techline spoke with Travis and he noted everything I relayed from the customer, he had me text him pictures of the evap fan harness and the heater and the evap tray. He attached those photos to the file and made documentation of it. He told me I can by pass bi metal since unit has been off and pour some water on the heater to check for arching. I did by pass bimetal, turned unit to test 6 and waited approximately 10 minutes for it to get hot and poured about 8oz of water over it. Heater made normal sizzling noise thats to be expected when water comes in contact with a hot heater rod. Found no indication of sparking or arching when hot heater was wet. Reinstalled bimetal and reassembled all parts and panels. Unit is functioning as manufacturer designed. Unit checks ok."

Tested and inspected and found all ice maker functions and all other functions operating as designed. I recommended customer dump ice bin out every month or so to remove any compacted ice fragments. Explained to customer that the cold air in the fresh food section comes from air vent in ice maker housing, and food directly beside or under ice housing may freeze. Recommended customer keep high moisture items away from this area. Customer understood. At this time, unit is functioning as designed with no leaks detected. Did not move unit."
