"Took quick pics, found unit will complete cycles but there is a burning smell coming from unit during spin cycle. Took bottom front panel off and ran diagnostic cycle. Didnt find any issues with motor or drain pump. Watched belt turn and found no slipping on gears. Ran through a drain and spin cycle and found when unit starts the high speed spin, the bearings are making a singing noise. Unplugged unit and tested belt with my hand and it feels taut. Would need bearings for repair but whirlpool no longer sells rear of outer tub needed for repair. Customer is going to buy a new unit. Had office run cc for $150 and email receipt"

"Took quick pics, today the ff is about 44 degrees and the fz is 2 degrees and there is bucket full of ice. Found ff evap impacted with ice. Took cover off and took resistance of defrost thermistor its approximately 6kohms which is in range and there is 5DCV from control to thermistor. Cleared all ice. Told customer its possible the evap had too much frost from the air leak that was happening initially and I didnt think to check the evap build up when I was here to do repair. I also let customer know its a possible defrost problem but we will give it a few weeks to see if the issue returns or if it was resolved by defrosted evap today."

"Customer complaint is unit would start and heat up fine but after unit heats up and cycles gas off unit never ignites gas again on bake. Found unit not igniting every time during bake. Found igniter not in correct position to ignite gas consistently. Adjusted placement of igniter. Cycled units bake watched unit for 20 minutes, units igniter cycled correctly every time and lit gas every time. All functions pass."

Customer complaint is units clothes are too wet at end of cycle and not wringing clothes out. Called techline. Went over checks with techline and ran unit through calibration and diagnostic cycles. No new error codes after running cycles.
