Found that resistance of thermistor is good but wiring through cabinet has no resistance from what meter is saying. Called customer to let him know that unit is not repairable based on readings at board for thermistor. Customer already paid trip charge in previous visit will not be charging customer anything else. Customer understands and said he will look into getting a new one. Informed customer unit should work for the next few weeks since ice was dethawed at evaporator coil. Waived rest of estimate since unit cannot be repaired customer owes nothing.

Customer opened the coin box and the top of coin box for me, I took coin drop out of coin box housing and found 5-6 quarters stuck in the top of the drop and a few side by side which caused it to jam. Removed quarters from drop and replaced drop into housing. Before returning coin box I dropped a few quarters one by one in drop slot to make sure they go through all the way and its fine. Customer states since Helene outage unit has had foul interior odor . Customer States they pulled unit out and took rear cover off and seen mold/debri in drain pan and Believe source of odor is coming from drain pan. Removed rear cover. No clogged drain. Dust and condition of drain pan is normal due to the fact thats where defrost water goes and remains unit water is evaporated from compressor heat. Pan has corrosion from evaporator heat shield No fault or odor is coming from pan . It is also no possible for a odor from drain pan to reach interior of unit . Recommend customer use baking soda or charcoal in interior to reduce odor. Unit check is ok

"Took quick pics, found unit rh door is farther down than the fz door. Also found the top gap between doors is very small compared to the bottom which has a larger gap. Ran test 16 & 17, If I manually close switch it is responsive on control. Pulled unit out just enough to expose hinge screws. Pushed FF door away from fz door at the top, unit now makes contact and is closing the door switch. Also leveled feet and tightened nut on ff door hinge nut. I also rerouted the hinge harness to hopefully prevent future issues. Unit checks ok. Customer paid for TC and Labor of $184.99 by check and emailed receipt."

"Took quick pics, found unit not spinning properly. Found unit had a 9-1 code stored and will only run the drain pump wont do anything else. Vaccumed out all water and took front panel off took filter out of the pump and found a piece of fabric was blocking pump exit. Cleared out filter and ran test. Unit still only running drain pump, installed new drain pump and unit had to run through a safety loop before it was clear the control and let me run diagnostics test 12. Completed test 12 and a regular drain and spin. Started a regular cycle to clear out some odor that had accumulated in drum. Unit checks ok. ; used 1 W11458345 (Drain pump) from stock"

"I had called techline yesterday and spoke with Nathan. I went through job history and told him customer had contacted me to tell me the temp is going back up and he can see frost on evap cover. Came out today and checked internal temps. Found frost on back wall of freezer, couldnt take proper fz temp due to no food being in it but the air temp is checking at 15 degrees and the ff package temp is checking at 34 on bottom shelf and 37 on top shelf. Pulled unit out and unplugged to check thermistor read outs. House thermostat is set at 70 degrees. Called techline spoke with Joe, I told him I had the ff thermistor in a glass of ice water and the water was checking at 32 degrees. After a few minutes the thermistor read out at the main control was 8.5kohms and then I did the same thing with the fz thermistor and water was 37 degrees after a few minutes the thermistor read out at the 8.16kohms. He sent this to engineering and took my email so they can follow up with me 7739974379"

Unit unplugged when I arrived. Plugged unit in and Contacted tech support and spoke to Art. I informed him of situation. We turned on all heaters and fans. All ok at this time. While checking fresh food fan I heard gas moving through the evaporator. Checked and found compressor running during tests that it shouldnt be running. Art recommended replacing Orion board (W11567409) 3 way valve (W11574310) electronics. He speculated that compressor was constantly running and maybe overheating because condenser fan may have not been running to cool it. He gave Sr number (7740224374).
