"Installed new parts. When disassembled cabinet is bent underneath really bad , with new parts installed unit rubs like crazy and shuts off. Parts are hard to line up dude to unit damage. Called tech line and spoke with Adrian. Adrian states product must be so,d in working order and doesnt cover cabinet damage. Customer to return unit to discount dealer. Dealer is known to sell bad product . Warranty will not cover repair per tech line. Case number is 23939843"

Chris was here for 5 minutes. He saw our refrigerator, looked at the lower hinge of the freezer door and said that our model was notorious for this problem and the only solution was to replace the door for $2000. He suggested that we get ice trays and continue to use the refrigerator until it died. We were billed $150. That’s outrageous. Brent Mattox

The problem was identified as a known failure with your refrigerator model that requires replacement of the freezer door assembly. Unfortunately, this is not a repair that can be resolved with an adjustment or replacement of a small component.
While the visit was brief, the length of the appointment reflected that the diagnosis was straightforward and did not require extensive disassembly or testing. Our service call fee covers the technician's travel, time, expertise, and accurate diagnosis, regardless of whether a repair is ultimately performed.
When you asked about alternatives to the repair, our technician offered practical suggestions—such as using ice trays or a countertop ice maker—to help you continue using the refrigerator if you chose not to proceed with the recommended repair due to its cost.
We understand that unexpected repair expenses can be frustrating, and we regret that the outcome was not what you were hoping for. However, we are confident that the diagnosis and recommendations provided were accurate and made with your best interests in mind.
