"Cleared all ice build up from evaporator. Tested heater and found it had proper resistance. Contacted tech support and spoke to Chris. We tested unit in diagnostic and found heater not coming on. Bypassed defrost bi-metal and found same results. Found heater not getting voltage but when checked heater to ground we found voltage, indicating we are loosing power on neutral wire inside cabinet. This part cannot be replaced or repaired. Unit is non repairable. Case number (23395132). Informed customer that they will need to contact whirlpool if they have any questions.
