Nate 7737890699 installed encoder and encoder harness plugged unit in and found the ui flashed all the lights and then went dark like it should when first plugged in. Unit wouldnt turn on or go into diagnostics. Control is sending 12DCV to ui. Called Techline and spoke with Nate. He said to re-order encoder if weve got proper voltage from the outlet on a dedicated circuit and then we also have proper voltage into the UI but its not powering on told customer customer for right now is refusing repair just because the manufacture states that they wont entertain anything else as long as There is a file open.

"Gave customer envelope with job history. Took quick pics, found unit showing no codes. Ran unit through diag test found no errors. Put unit into bake cycle after taking floor of oven out. Found the unit immediately lit. Did the same with broil also lit just fine. Pulled unit out and unplugged. Took back found and tested regulator at dsi through harness. Found bake valve to be 214 ohms and the broil valve to be 218 ohms. Both in range. Found board sending 120v to dsi and dsi sending 12DCV which is in range. Found the temp sensor to show 1K ohms. Since this is an intermittent issue and its working today, if issue comes back we would need dsi board for repair gave customer est of $481.88 customer calling whirlpool to see if they will cover anything had office run cc for $125 and RH to mail receipt and history"
