Found unit not making ice. Customer stated icemaker wouldnt stop filling with water after it made a noise. and now icemaker wont fill with water at all. Checked unit. Units icemaker wont start even with jumping it. Water valve most likely locked itself off after the amount of water pushed through. Even though the ice maker on our Whirlpool refrigerator started working again on its own before the technician arrived, we had them come anyway to check it, since our 1 yr. warranty will expire the end of this month. We have had ASI service our other Whirlpool/KitchenAid appliances in the past, and are happy with their work. We’re thoroughly disappointed in Maytag’s parts supply chain. We were over a month without a washer. A washer that is less than one year old and has had the same issue twice. We are 100% happy with Sam, our service person. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. He performed his repairs in a timely manner and did not leave a mess.
